The Mine to Tarnish cover will be revealed on September 26th!
I’m really excited to share it! I love You Are Mine‘s cover, but truthfully, I think I like this one even more. Squee! As the cover reveal gets closer, I’ll have some sneak peeks so keep a look out.
Until then, some details: Nereyda from YA Bound Tours is assisting me with the cover reveal, and guys, she’s awesome! I would be super happy if you have a site your willing to host the cover reveal on. Thanks in advance!
If you didn’t hear last week , Mine to Tarnish, a Mine prequel novella, will be released Dec. 2, 2013. Very excited about this story. I’ve also been busy with another secret project (more on this soon, and guys, I’m so excited to share! Think contest and with an awesome prize) along with working on Mine to Spell which is going really well. While you’re waiting for fun news, I thought I’d share one of my favorite experts from the You Are Mine. And as always, feel free to drop me a question or thought. Enjoy!
I slump against the wall and slide to the floor. My sisters. I’ve worked seventeen years to protect them. Apparently, I haven’t been doing enough. Yet, the little I was able to do, I’ll no longer be able to provide. Marriage will stop me from being with them more than she thinks. I’ll never be more than I am now. Only less. Less able to help them in any way. My ability to choose will fade. I’ll take on the role of a breeder.
Or worse. I’ll become like that haunted tarnished. Bald. Inked. Barren. Emotionless. Not worth the shadow I cast.
I’m thrilled to announce the secret project I’ve been working on is a Mine Prequel Novella. Those of you who love Katherine can learn more about her and how she came to be tarnished. And I know what you really want is the details, so we’ll get right to it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask or leave a comment.
Mine to Tarnish
A Mine Prequel Novella
December 2, 2013
Katherine’s place is the same as any woman’s—on the shelf next to the dresses and bolts of cloth. When she’s sold to a warlock, life grows even bleaker. Her new owner is as old and rancid as he is cruel, driving her to do the unthinkable: run.
Nothing prepared her for being on her own. And she’s definitely unprepared for the warlocks hunting her down. But she must stay one step ahead because if caught, the best she can hope for is death.
