Janeal has enough books published that it may be hard to know where to start. This guide should help you discover which series or standalone you’d like to begin with. All of Janeal’s books are fantasy and have at least a little romance.
The books and series:
You Are Mine is a good crossover novel that will appeal to those wanting a long term investment into seeing women fight against oppression.
If you like assassins, girl power, a smidgen of romance, Death’s Queen would be your cuppa of tea.
Janeal’s newest series starts with Sands of Eppla, a clean adult fantasy where you fall in love at first sight or not at all. Unfortunately, Cassandra is blind.
Janeal’s first series for adults is Mother of the Chosen. It’s exactly what it sounds like. The mother of the chosen must protect her child from womb and on. If she doesn’t succeed, the world will perish because her child won’t be alive to fulfill prophecy.
The Elven Princess series is geared for a slightly younger YA audience dealing with magic, romance, adventure, and pirates.
Darkening Light is a duology, again for a slightly younger YA, in which the world has become perfect, and what happens when all evil is vanquished. The books can be read as standalones but work better together.
If you like standalones, Goddess Ascending is a set of serials put together in one book. A goddess is betrayed and left on the world. Now she must fight her way back to the heavens.
Another standalone is A Genie’s Heart. It’s a novella, making it a shorter read. The best part is, if you sign up for Janeal’s newsletter, you can get it for free–and in fact, that’s the only way to get it.
